Imail comms, the SaaS based, Hybrid and Digital mail communication provider, has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for its information security management system (ISMS). The certificate was issued by QMUK. 

ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is an international standard that describes the best practices for information security management system (ISMS). The ISO standard framework addresses three main dimensions in information security: Confidentiality, Integrity and availability.  The standard requires that organisations put appropriate controls in to tackle information security. Organisations that achieve this standard have been meticulously audited to ensure these high standards are met.

In truth, before our carve out we always operated within an ISO27001 environment which reflects the speed at which we have achieved the accreditation. We are delighted that our entire Hybrid & Digital Mail Information Security systems have been audited on their own merit, and have met the required global standard.” 

A yearly audit is required to ensure that imail comms continues to adopt these principles and best practices across its organisation. The processes that have been put in place will ensure that both new and existing employees will understand the policies around information security.
